He Won’t Know It’s Paleo Cookbook Review

Bre’anna Emmitt’s cookbook, He Won’t Know It’s Paleo, holds a special place because I remember it  in its seedling stages. I was one of many who contributed to Bre’anna’s Kickstarter campaign, a process that made her dream of writing a cookbook a reality.

That an entire community rallied in order to help Bre’anna get her cookbook completed is fitting as He Won’t Know It’s Paleo is more than just a collection of delicious recipes. Bre’anna’s book is also about reaching out to a broader AIP Community with a wonderful selection of scrumptious dishes as well as delicately addressing bringing one’s family on board (page 10) with ingredients that adhere to an elimination-phase diet.

Both of these dishes maximize taste while remaining simple to prepare. My husband (who, like Bre’anna’s husband, comes to paleo through my need to eat anti-inflammatory foods) was especially enamoured with the creaminess of the slaw’s dressing. We finished off that scrumptious dinner with the divine Blackberry Cobbler (page 123), pictured right. A feast  of extraordinary tastiness, to be sure! I cannot wait to sample more fare from this delightful cookbook.

If you follow the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, then be sure to add He Won’t Know It’s Paleo to your library. You’ll be excited by Bre’anna’s array of 100% AIP-compliant recipes, and you’ll even make believers of your non-paleo-eating friends and family, just like Bre’anna did with her husband…the “he” in He Won’t Know It’s Paleo. 😉
